Hi All, I am from Asia and ordered the #5 Brabus, but i realize it seems only China model comes with the big brake kit. Anyone has any information what brand or part no. the big brake kit is, i wonder if we can retrofit the big brake kit.

Retrofitting is definitely possible with brakes. The question is, however, at what cost? It doesnt't really make sense. The vehicle is rahter unsuitable for the racetrack, and with a maximum top speed of 210, it doesn't need it either.

From my point of view it makes really sense to have the "China" brake in the car, a 4 piston caliper with ventilated disk has a more strongfull pedal feeling and more performance in total. Here in Europe and this is silly and ridiculous they decided not to install this better brake version. That is not understandable at all.
The main reason therefore should be the low pricing of the car.
The same shit with the suspension, seat massage function, door closing aid aso.

Understand Smart #5 probally not the best tool for track use and the 4 pot brake is not a must need parts. Just that i feel China market has it, why can't other location has. so i really wonder what it takes to retrofit, but somehow i find it very hard to find resource for Smart car.
